Villa La Rocca is the ideal holiday home for a larger family or a group, who, far from the noisy tourist spots, is looking for peace, serenity and independence without compromising on an impeccable 5-star service.
La Rocca is a beautiful villa nested on lava rocks overlooking one of the largest and most beautiful lagoons of Mauritius and the four northern islands. From the large pool level a few steps lead directly into the sea while another stair leads to a sundeck 4 meters above sea-level and from there straight into the ocean and to a private beach.
Inside the villa: La Rocca is tastefully and comfortably furnished and offers stereo system, satellite TVs, a mediacenter and WiFi ADSL Internet connection.
Living Rooms: The villa has two living rooms, one on each floor. Both are air-conditioned and offer ample and confortable seating. In the ground floor living room guests can enjoy through large windows an amazing 180 º panoramic view on the lagoon and the outer islands, while the small terrace accessed through the upstairs living room offers ultimate privacy dominating the ocean.
Kitchen: The comfortable kitchen has recently been refitted and offers all wished for conveniences including a micro-wave and stove.
Terraces: The villa is surrounded by five fully furnished terraces overlooking the ocean which, shadowed by tropical trees and plants, create as many retreats to read, relax or sunbath. The sandy sundeck 4 meters above sea-level provides for sunbeds and/or moonlight dining arrangements.
Pool: a few steps lead from the upper terraces to the 45 sqm overflow pool surrounded by ombrellas and sunbeds. Fresh pool towels are always available.
Barbecues: The villa features two barbecue areas next to the pool and on the beach as well as one mobile barbecue which can be moved to one of the many hideaways around the house.
Bedrooms: Six comfortably appointed air-conditioned bedrooms, three on each floor, accommodate up to 12 guests.
Bathrooms: The villa provides one bathroom on each floor fitted to international standards and an outside pool shower.
Food and beverages: Your personal cook who will take care of your daily meals prepared according to your preferences and served on the various terraces or pool side. He will be delighted to introduce you to the basics of Mauritian cooking. Groceries not included. The kitchen staff will make sure that your stay becomes an unforgettable culinary experience.
Activities and sport facilities: the immediat vicinity of Villa la Rocca offers fishing, biking, swimming, snorkelling, diving, kitesurf, windsurf, surf, ski and, of course, shopping in the pitoresque village of Goodlands at 15 mnute drive. Grand Baie, the center of Mauritian tourism and nightlife is about 15 mnutes away.
Motor vehicles and boat: One Nissan March per 4 guests is included in the rent. Optionally other models can be choosen at extra cost. All motor vehicles are fully insured and require a vaild driving license and a € 500.00 insurance excess deposit. A speedboat is included in the rent and is equipped for waterski, wake board, snorkelling and picnics.
Optionally, other boats can be choosen either for the entire stay or per day at extra cost.
The package includes:
• Transfers from and to the airport;
• Hospitality staff of 5 including two maids, one driver, one skipper, 24/7 security
• Motor vehicles (1 Nissan March per 4 guests), speedboat, hobycat, windsurf boards, kitesurf boards and kayaks are all included in the rent (except petrol);
